Before submitting a manuscript, it is always important to review the journal’s editorial policy and guidelines. The editorial team is continuously working to make the submission process more accessible for authors and to broaden the reach of published articles. Therefore, updates are published on our website, and all authors should stay informed of these changes. Key points from the latest updates (2025):
(1) The publication fee for revista Árvore has been reduced to R$ 400.00 for payments made in Brazil or US$ 75.00 for international payments.
(2) Supplementary material may be published alongside the article, and we encourage authors to make their research data available in open-access repositories. If authors choose to do so, the link to the repository will be included in the published article, making it easier for interested readers to access the data.
(3) Árvore accepts review articles, provided they include a robust data analysis and that the results represent an advancement in the discussion and understanding of the research topic. Please note that the structure of review articles must follow the same format as research articles, including: title, abstract, and keywords (in Portuguese and English); materials and methods; results; discussion; conclusions; and references.
(4) Authors are requested to suggest five potential reviewers for the submitted article. This measure aims to speed up the review and publication process. Suggested reviewers should not have any conflicts of interest with the research in question.
